 The VitaPick applies the antiseptic
into the base of deep pockets
The VitaPick is an antiseptic applicator (not irrigator
like the WaterPik) with a * very fine blunt tip specifically

dollar store or super market. It can be

has no quality control issues. You are
assured that you always get what you pay
for. In addition it is
hard to beat the safety of
hydrogen peroxide and salt. You may find
that a super-saturated salt solution alone
is good enough to kill the deep pocket
bacteria.
Another solution covered is colloidal silver.
Though tougher to find and more expensive it
can be used against stronger bacteria. The
good news is that both these natural
antiseptics are very effective against deep
pocket gum disease producing bacteria.
Any solution for the gum that has more
than two ingredients is highly suspect. When
uncertain what works the vendor includes all
vitamins, minerals, enzymes and such that
they find in the literature in the hope that
some may actually be beneficial. Often the
ingredients are not even known to be
anti-bacterial or anti-inflammatory. You add
ineffective or marginally effective
ingredients and you dilute the more
effective ingredient which in addition
likely disrupt intended activity. Now an
unsuspecting costumer reads the label and
recognizes some of the ingredients and
assumes that they are effective and the more
the better. In my twenty years or so of
research I have personally tried most of
these ingredients at high concentrations so
why would they work as low dilutions? Many
of them I have researched and found useless
as an antiseptic or anti-inflammatory. So be
warned when shopping for periodontal
antiseptics.
Conclusion: Salt and
hydrogen peroxide is all you need to kill
the bacteria in the gum pockets. The Smile
Method is effective because it delivers this
natural powerful solution to kill the

You have
done nothing to stop the progression of
periodontitis
